VCUSD #203 will be dismissing school early on Friday, September 12th for a school improvement day. Dismissal Times are as follows: VES-11:30 AM; VJHS-11:30 AM 4th Grade walkers/pick-ups/early bus students and 11:45 AM Grades 5th to 8th; VCHS-11:45 AM. There will be No Pre-K Classes.

Our VCHS Media Production (Mrs.Lay's) Class went to Busch Stadium today to get a behind-the-scenes look at their media operations and production technology. This experience gave them insight on how our own production crew and Daktronics Scoreboard can lead to a larger scale experience and future careers!

The varsity football game originally scheduled for 9/26 versus Gillespie has been moved to Saturday, 9/27, with a 6:00pm start. This will also be VYO night.

The VCHS National Honor Society (NHS) is collecting blank Christmas cards to help bring holiday cheer to veterans!

How to Get Involved:
❤️Donate blank cards: We are looking for new, blank Christmas cards with envelopes.
❤️Drop off: Place your cards in the collection box located in the VCHS Office or in Ms. Hanson's Room

Why Blank Cards?
By collecting blank cards, the NHS can organize a separate event where students can come together to write personal messages of gratitude and holiday greetings. This ensures a consistent and meaningful message is included with each card. It also makes for a great community service event!

Mrs. Kern and Mrs. Major took 35 students on an adventure to Illinois State University! The group explored the beautiful campus, enjoyed a guided tour, and gathered for a lively presentation all about life as a Redbird. It was a great day of learning, laughs, and a little college inspiration!
