Attendance will be taken daily Monday-Friday by you, the student, logging into the Teacherease student portal ( https://www.teacherease.com/) then click “Log-in with Google” and check in on the E-Learning Check-In tab. Students must check-in by 11am to be counted present.
Attendance expectations remain the same for remote learners as students in attendance. Students not attending are subject to truancy referrals.

Remember if you are a freshman to schedule a time to visit the high school and tour! Great day meeting with a few of our new students!

Attention VCHS All-In Remote Learners:
I would like to give some information about the All In Remote Learning option for the high school specifically. For the students who select this option, it is absolutely imperative that they have reliable and consistent internet on a daily basis. The use of a cell phone for this will not suffice. There will not be any paper packets created and distributed for these students. On Friday, August 14th remote learners will be reporting to the high school between 9:00 and 3:00 to pick up textbooks and Chromebooks. If you have registered for this option, please watch your email for more information. Please call the high school office (618) 283-5155 with any questions.

If you are an incoming freshman or a new student to VCHS and would like to tour the building and see classrooms, please email Mrs. Krueger at gkrueger@vandals203.org to schedule a time to come in! Looking forward to starting the year!

Attention K-5 Parents/Guardians with Hybrid Learners- please complete the application for support provided by our community partners. https://forms.gle/LKe3qyVasrZenhVy8

I hope all of you are enjoying the summer. We are excited for the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year. I just wanted to remind everyone that in-person registration is going to be a little different than it has the past few years due to our capacity restrictions. If you need to register your student in-person instead of online registration from home, you will do so at your child's respective building. Just as a reminder, you will need to wear a mask upon entering the buildings. Please see the schedule for VCHS below:
VCHS In-Person Registration:
9th Grade: 8/3/30 - 8am-3pm
10th Grade: 8/4/20 - 8am-3pm
11th Grade: 8/5/20 - 8am-3pm
12th Grade: 8/6/20 - 8am-3pm
All who couldn't before: 8/7/20 - 8am-3pm
Any new students to Vandalia School District should plan to register in-person on these assigned dates.

All VCHS Students enrolled in a vocational class at Okaw will be attending Monday through Thursday for okaw class only. Please note, the students will be attending on their two on site days for their regular school class schedule but will be able to come and go on the other two days for their Okaw class only. This applies to the actual vocational classes for upper classmen that are three periods long. Please call or email with any questions!

ATTENTION VCHS Parent and Students:
Please read the attached list carefully of the VCHS Hybrid Roster using this link: https://tinyurl.com/vchshybridroster
**When alphabetical order didn't work it was due to class size and/or siblings at lower grade levels.
