VCHS Awards Day will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 9:00am in the VCHS Gym. Parents and Guests are welcome to attend and we will have the east bleachers reserved for all guests.

VCHS Art Club invites you to our first Vandalia School District Art Show on Friday, April 28th from 6 - 8 pm at Vandalia High School! This Art Show will include art from VES, VJHS, VCHS, and Faculty/Staff. Join us to support all of our school art programs!

Information about Vandalia Pool for the 2023 Season

Vandalia Elementary School is currently pre-registering students entering Kindergarten during the 2023-24 school year. In lieu of in-person registration, please register your child anytime during normal working hours at the VES office between now and May 1st, 2023. Pre-registration paperwork was distributed by all local daycares. If you need a pre-registration packet or have any questions, please contact the VES office at 618-283-5166.

Deadline to submit Artwork for the Vandalia School District Art Show is tomorrow, April 14th. Contact Brooke Renfro if you have any questions!

On 4.12.23 VCHS will be administering the PSAT to all 9th & 10th graders, and the SAT to all juniors. The freshmen and sophomores will be dismissed at the normal time. Juniors will be allowed to leave once testing is completed and seniors will not report to school on this day.

Vandalia Elementary School will be pre-registering students entering Kindergarten during the 2023-24 school year. Children must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2023, to enter Kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year. In lieu of in-person registration, you may drop off the yellow enrollment form, a copy of the child's birth certificate, and immunization record anytime during normal working hours at the VES office between now and May 1, 2023. - The Vandalia Sports Boosters Club is looking for new members! - The Sports Boosters help to provide new equipment and uniforms for Vandalia athletes. - Families of current, former, and future Vandalia athletes, as well as all Vandal fans are welcome to join. - There will be a meeting for new and current members Saturday, April 29th at 9:00 am at the Vandalia Country Club. During the meeting, we will be electing new officers for the next school year. - Please help us spread the word by sharing this post and inviting your friends.

VCUSD #203 will be dismissing school early on Wednesday, April 5th to begin Spring Break. Dismissal times are as follows: VES:2:00 PM walkers/pick-ups/and early bus students, 2:10 PM Late bus students and Pre-K AM 8:00 – 11:00 AM Pre-K PM 12:00 - 2:00 PM. VJHS: 4th Grade – 2:00 PM walkers/pick-ups/and early bus students 5th thru 8th Grades – 2:15 PM; VCHS: 2:15 PM. There will be NO school from Thursday, April 6th thru Monday, April 10th. School will resume on Tuesday, April 11th.

Due to weather conditions tomorrow's Vandalia High School Softball Tournament has been cancelled. 4/1/23

We are accepting applications for the VCHS Head Basketball Coach and the VCHS Head Soccer Coach for the 2023-2024 school year. If you are interested in applying for either coaching position, please submit a letter of interest and resume or district application to Mr. Jason Clay, Athletic Director, at jclay@vandals203.org. Vandalia CUSD #203 is hiring a Maintenance Assistant. Experience in industrial or school environment of facility maintenance preferred. Electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC knowledge recommended. VCHS Art Club is preparing for our very first district art show on Friday, April 28th from 6-8 pm in the VCHS Gym. We are accepting work from all grade levels (PreK - 12th) and Faculty/Staff! Artwork Submission Specifications: 🎨 We are looking for current artwork, preferably from this school year 🎨 It can be any type of art media(Graphite, crayons, markers, acrylic paint, oil pastels, etc.) 🎨 Preferably unique, individual artwork but open to group activity art 🎨 It can be any size or orientation. (Horizontal or vertical) 🎨 It does not need to be framed in any way 🎨 Artwork needs the artist’s name, title, and provide an artist’s statement that will be displayed with the artwork.
